That’s where hosting comes in.
Hosting is the space your website lives in. Without it, your domain name is just an empty sign on a street with no house behind it.
So, What Is Hosting?
Let’s answer it clearly: what is hosting?
It’s a service that stores all the parts of your website — your content, images, menus, everything — and makes it viewable online.
When someone visits your site, your hosting provider sends the website content to their screen. If you don’t have hosting, there’s nothing to show them.
Good hosting helps your site:

- Load quickly and reliably
- Stay backed up (just in case!)

Think of it like renting a reliable bit of space online where your website can safely live.
